Yes! All of our units are cleaned thoroughly. We are committed to making sure that your children are playing in a clean, well maintained, and safe environment.

You can find one of our vast selection of jumping castles, water slides, and interactive units at occasions including but not limited to: birthday parties, church festivals, charity events, corporate events, company picnics, school fetes, grand openings, OSHC, and much more!

Under no circumstances should water be used with any inflatable that is not designed for such use. However, there are inflatables designed for use with water. We will be glad to let you know what water units are available for you to rent for your event. We do provide a water hose (40m long) if inflatable is further please have a water hose present.

Our inflatables can be set up on grass or indoors. When placing your reservation, please let us know on what type of terrain your rental will be installed. Inflatables that are setup on grass are anchored with long steel stakes, while inflatables that are setup indoors are anchored with weights. We will not setup outdoors on hard surfaces. Unless each anchoring point has a minimum of 160kg of weight attached to it as per the Australian standards for safe operation of inflatable devices.

The jumping castle should be placed on a grassy surface that is clear, level, and flat. It’s important to have a prearranged site for the castle that meets the required area space. Please note that we cannot set up the jumping castle on surfaces like rocks, gravel, or any roadbase-like materials.

Yes, we have a $20 million public liability insurance. A Certificate for Public Liability can be provided Upon accepting a Quote.

Who is Liable?
Ensuring the jumping castle is set up safely and is fit for operation is our responsibility – that’s what we’re here for! However, once the castle is set up and in use, it’s up to the hirer to ensure that the children use it safely. We provide instructions on safe use, but just like a rental car, it’s the responsibility of the person in charge (in this case, the hirer) to ensure it’s used correctly and safely.

Yes, our equipment needs to be supervised at all times by a adult 18 years or older. If there isn’t an adult on hand to supervise BRJC are more than happy to provide one of our friendly crew to supervise at an additional cost.

Shoes, jewellery, sharp objects, pets/animals, silly string, food or drink, and wet face paints are not allowed on any of the inflatables. These things can damage the equipment and make it very hard to clean or repair. As much as we all love our furry friends, we also ask that you never allow them on the equipment. It puts the children and animals at a very high potential for injury.

Unfortunately our equipment can’t be used in wet weather or strong winds 25km/h and over. We monitor the weather closely leading up to your event. If inclement weather is expected we may have to cancel or postpone your hire.  Please read the adverse weather terms and conditions in your contract.

BRJC crew member will be onsite before your hire time Starts to have the equipment  setup and ready to go before your event starts. We will return at the end of your hire time to pack up and remove the equipment.  Setup and Pack down are NOT an extra expense.

If you have a large event and require BRJC Crew to staff it, there will be setup and pack down charges. These charges depend on the amount of equipment, the number of supervisors needed, and the duration of your event. Please contact us for a quote and a detailed breakdown of charges tailored to your specific needs.

If your Event is taking place between Palm Cove and Edmonton there are no additional delivery fees.

BRJC will travel just about any where, Mount Isa to the Torres Straits and everywhere inbetween.

Please inquire about travel costs as all events are vastly different.

Unfortunately, due to our insurance policies and safety requirements, we do not allow customers to pick up the equipment themselves. A trained Barrier Reef Jumping Castles (BRJC) operator must handle the setup and pack-down of all equipment to ensure everything is installed correctly and safely. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Our office is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. On weekends, the Barrier Reef Jumping Castles (BRJC) team is usually out delivering smiles with our inflatables, so we might not be able to answer your call right away. However, please leave a message, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. For a quicker response, feel free to text or email us with your enquiry.

For reservations on special dates like Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Australia Day, Easter, Christmas, and similar holidays, we do apply additional fees. These fees are decided by the owner. If you’d like to avoid these additional costs, we suggest choosing another date for your booking.

If you’re interested in setting up a jumping castle in a local park, please make sure to contact your local council to obtain the necessary permission. Rest assured, we have public liability insurance that covers setups in public parks.
